The Universal Exercise Unit and Therauit originated in Europe and they are therapy tools that enable children to perform resisted weight training while being supported in various movement patterns to promote strengthening through functional everyday tasks.
the TheraSuit provides support , stabilization and alignment to the major muscle groups to normalize movement patterns.
The staff from Pediatrics Plus Therapy Services were among the first to participate in the Koscielny’s Universal Exercise training program.
Charlotte has been working with children with disabilities since 1987 and has seen first hand the progress the children can make while participating in an intensive program. The current Pediatrics Plus program resulted from the training she received from Richard and Izabela Koscielny in 2002.
